The Quality Assurance Manager must have experience in creating and implementing a detailed plan to ensure overall quality of all IT products, services and systems. They must have experience in resolving all project or program release problems and take corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve results. They must also have experience in assuring the viability, functionality and effectiveness of essential tools.

10 years or more experience and bachelor's degree
Experience with diverse testing projects both large and small
Well versed in agile software development life cycle, project management methodologies and enterprise wide network engineering
Ability to provide guidance to engagement teams and junior staff
Experience developing Quality Assurance Management Plans
Experience conducting research to identify organizational quality standards, policies and procedures
Experience providing quality assurance support on various IT products
Experience conducting root cause analysis to identify any quality gaps in project artifacts/activities
Provide guidance and lead junior staff
Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.
Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.
Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities.
Interview campus and/or experienced candidates.


10 years' experience
Experience managing testers (UAT), developing test plans/reports, and briefing leadership on risks resulting from test results for multiple releases/increments
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Reviews deliverables for quality, completeness and alignment with client requirements before client submission
Enforces project quality standards as documented in Quality Assurance Management Plan
Captures and shares any risks/issues that may impede quality standards
Healthcare experience required
Related Certification (i.e. CSM, PMP, CSSGB) preferred
Experience within Veterans Affairs and/or Healthcare preferred
Experience with testing/business requirements software (e.g. Rational Tools Suite)
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Coach and mentor junior staff members.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
