At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

Support the client Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program.
Ensures technical architectures for future state operations are aligned with business goals of Business Operations program implementation.
Validates Business Operations capabilities and impacts across VHA using council input and standard framework to develop a business-driven IT roadmap.
Work with client counterpart during all phases of the program on solution design, build and validation. This includes, but is not limited to, Coding, Chart Completion, ROI. May also involve expertise in 3M. Provides advisory support and expertise specific to the Cerner Access HIM.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.


BS in computer science/engineering/technical discipline is required
Min. 5 years of exp
Exp. with diverse IT projects
Must be well versed in full systems development life cycle, enterprise wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure and mgmt practices
Must be able to manage to cost/schedule/performance
10-15 years of experience with Cerner ERM/Patient Accounting/HIM application
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
