POSITON SUMMARY
Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance issues and maintains disaster recovery plans. Responsible for upgrades, patches, and implementation of new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance for Grant Thornton International technology environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Configure, maintain, and monitor physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure assets located around the globe
Configuration, administration, and maintain collaboration technologies to ensure high availability, security, and stability
Configuration, administration, and maintain active directory environment to ensure high availability, security, and stability
Configuration, administration, and maintain server infrastructure assets to ensure high availability, security, and stability
Configuration, administration, and maintain networking infrastructure assets to ensure high availability, security, and stability
Configuration, administration, and maintain Microsoft SQL environments to ensure high availability, security, and stability
Configuration, Administration, and maintain server, desktop, and other backup technologies
Configuration, Administration, and maintain Antivirus, Firewalls, and other security technologies
Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
Over time hours could be required to ensure all maintenance and network issues are resolved
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
Current MS2003 or 2008 track MCSE certification required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating and supporting corporate websites utilizing Microsoft technologies
Minimum of 2 years if experience with administration and configuration of Microsoft Exchange 2003 or higher
Experience with backup technologies ( preferred CommVault )
Experience with Microsoft SQL databases 2005 and higher
Experience with networking infrastructure technologies ( HP and Cisco preferred )
Experience with major server hardware manufacturers ( HP preferred )
Experience with firewall technologies ( Checkpoint preferred )
Experience with Microsoft Office Communicator/Lync
Experience with Virtualization technologies
Experience with cloud services and outsourcing strategies
Experience with SharePoint 2010 Server a plus
ITIL and Project Management skills a plus
Multilingual communications experience a plus
Team player, excellent written, verbal and inter-personal communications skills
Overtime required in the course of network operations and maintenance activities ( evenings / weekends as necessary )
Up to 10% annual international travel required

Uptime and stability of production infrastructure as a result of successful infrastructure design and maintenance
