Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Manage and direct Assurance Teams in the overall planning and execution of external audits for clients in a variety of industries; review financial statements and related technical accounting issues; develop a project vision and set challenging personal and client service team goals; manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews; perform quality audit reviews on financial statements and tax-related issues; maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively; consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to client; develop new relationships and attend/generate sales calls.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or directly related field and 5 years related experience. In lieu of a US Bachelor’s degree will accept foreign 3-year degree plus associate membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (India). Prior exp. must include: plan, coordinate, supervise and execute audits in the financial services industry utilizing US GAAS and GAAP; oversee engagements including analytical reviews, preparation of budgets and review of workpapers; prepare and maintain financial records and statements for clients; prepare corporate, partnership and individual tax returns. Must possess a U.S. CPA license.
