Public Sector Transaction Advisory- Manager/Senior Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a team oriented professional responsible to join a specialized high energy team charged with evaluating business for creditworthiness, impacts of pending mergers and acquisitions, entities’ financial viability and future operations though due diligence, valuation and modeling techniques. As a member of this team, the ideal candidate will have experience and technical expertise in one of the following areas: banking, modeling, transaction advisory services or restructuring.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Business development – build contacts for new and expansion of current work. - Develop, teach, lead and execute financial due diligence procedures. - Oversee and analyze historical and projected financial statements of commercial entities. - Develop analytical conclusions on financial data. - Guide and review the building of financial models and projections. - Draft reports.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS REQUIRED: - CPA or CFA required (MBA may be substituted). - BS or Masters - US citizenship - Prior applicable experience (8+ years) in similar job functions - Financial analysis & modeling skills. - Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. - Flexibility, self motivation, and enthusiasm to work on tight deadlines and in an unstructured environment. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Attention to detail.
