Data Warehouse Ad Hoc Team Lead/Manager

As the Data Warehouse Ad Hoc Team Lead Manager, you will serve as the project manager/team lead for all data warehouse ad hoc data call fulfillment. This includes managing a team of between 3 and 5 staff to conduct data analysis, ad hoc reporting, and the automation of ad hocs that are requested on a recurring/regular basis.

As the Data Warehouse Ad Hoc Team Lead Manager you will:

· Perform hands-on work with regard to data analysis, data modeling, SQL and PL/SQL generation, data set generation, and quality assurance.

· Work with the customer to develop project plans and estimates, elicit and manage requirements, and provide progress reports for all projects related to ad hocs.

· Execute project objectives on schedule and budget.

· Provide technical expertise by directing the team, performing quality assurance, and participating directly in development.

· Participate in multiple weekly and monthly progress meetings.

Qualifications

Requirements /Skills

· Full life cycle with data warehousing and business intelligence

· Data analysis experience

· Data warehouse requirements elicitation and management experience

· Led teams of similar size

· Project management techniques and estimation experience

· Dimensional data modeling

· Ability to understand Logical and Physical Data Models

· Requirements elicitation and analysis

· Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and multi-tasking capabilities

· Ability to perform well in high pressure, time-sensitive environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to work within an established timeframe to complete tasks

· Demonstrated ability to understand and document business processes

· Ability to assist in requirements gathering sessions

· Ability to interview customers at all levels

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work independently

· Strong desire to understand how and why

· Demonstrated experience with CM tools such as Serena Dimensions

· Expert Oracle database, SQL and PL/SQL experience

· BA/BS degree and a minimum of 8 years of demonstrated related experience
