IT Internal Controls Analyst
The IT Internal Controls Analyst will assess IT systems to determine if all security controls are in place and functioning properly in accordance with NIST 800-53A publications; meeting with various client s and conduct interviews regarding system information; analyze system documentation to determine the status of controls; and develop and present the results of assessments at all levels of the organization. To be considered, you must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Demonstrated knowledge of the NIST- 800 publications governing the FISMA Act.
• Familiarity with Government laws and directives, and previous experience advising the government on how to convert laws and directives into agency-level policy and other governance documentation.
• Thorough understanding of IT security requirements, technical security countermeasures, risk management processes, contingency planning, and data communications networking.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project and Visio, and the ability to create, publish, and deliver briefing materials.
• Be proficient in developing and presenting, both verbally and in writing, technical information and presentations to non-technical audiences at all levels of an organization.
• Technical proficiency with IT Security technologies to include but not limited to:
· Operating Platforms
· Infrastructure equipment
· Applications
• BA/BS degree and 3+ years of directly related experience
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
· Experience in a Healthcare environment is strongly desired
