Administration - Paraprofessional for International Accounting Firm - Paraprofessional, Administration
Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the Paraprofessional are to perform client service activities relating to one large client assignment and be involved with:
- audit of unit investment trusts (UIT).
- review of financial statements (edits, footings, proofing).
- initial trust deposit filings.
- assist in the execution of engagement tasks and in the delivery of work products.
- Interact with client personnel.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Office.
- Dependability, integrity
- Demonstrate organizational skills.
- Detail-Oriented.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to manage work, meet deadlines and prioritize.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Related Associate or Bachelors Degree helpful but not necessary.
- 1-3 years accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting and/or professional services firm (mutual fund administration company or accounting firm that audits mutual funds or UIT’s)
- Solid comprehension of general accounting theory
