The Senior Auditor is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of this project. This includes:
- Participating with Audit Managers and other audit staff in determining audit scope and developing audit guides
- Identifying and providing the Audit Manager or above significant audit issues related to the work performed
- Planning and conducting audit interviews and oral briefings that are logically organized and effectively delivered
- Preparing workpapers and deliverables such as Summary Memos, Testing Matrices, and other statements of facts noted during the audit that are well written and timely.
- Coordinating the resolution of accounting and auditing issues with the client
- Ensuring that the audit, related system reviews, and internal control assessments are performed with technical proficiency, in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable professional accounting and auditing standards
- Preparing audit reports to ensure findings and recommendations are objective, factual and in conformation with overall report-writing policies and standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Audit experience with at least 1 year of experience with the federal government clients
- Passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
-Possession of a Government Security clearance or the ability to obtain (Requires US Citizenship)
