Grant Thornton is seeking an Associate to join its Enterprise Inforamtion Management service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Data analytics or business intelligence including the collection, assessment and enhancement of data quality, reporting, and modeling capabilities and development of various dashboards

The resource will extract and aggregate data from multiple sources as well as clean, crosswalk and analyze data to subsequently develop data dashboards

The resource shall perform additional tasks including, performance of financial and cost analyses and development of performance metrics to meet organization mission goals

The majority of this work is done using MS Access, excel spreadsheets, R, and Tableau

Further refine existing Tableau dashboards, enhancing granularity of analysis and developing methodologies for variable scenarios and multi-dimensional analysis for fleet and property management

Future tasks include developing executive leadership dashboards and additional ad-hoc fleet and property dashboards as requested by the client.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Data Analytics

Database Modeling and Design, Data Visualization - DT&M, Technical Writing, Organizational Skills, Data Collection, Analysis and Interpretation

Extract, Transform and Load (ETL), SQL, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SharePoint Development

Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
