Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Enterprise Technology Strategy service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.


The Action Officer directs and oversees the receipt, tasking, tracking and closure of all internal and external tasks.
The Action Officer manages the action tracking system.
The Action Officer establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the offices both internally and externally.
Perform and maintain DAG support functions to include recognition programs, training, security
Manage client Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) actions for supported office
Analyze and assign or perform actions as appropriate
Coordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management review
Manage and execute the action tracking process; develop standard operating procedures and serve as facilitator for user requirements
Monitor progress on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending and new actions
Disseminate policy and legislative changes to appropriate parties internal to the client
Draft, proofread, edit and provide final review of internal and external correspondence
Develop and maintain presentations for audiences up to the client level; maintain a quality control process for all presentations
Participate in DAG-related meetings
Participate in internal committees, Integrated Process Teams (IPT), working groups and task forces
Manage records generated during the execution of the Directorates' projects and programs in accordance with Federal laws and regulations, as well as client Directives and Instructions

Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.


TS/SCI and CI Polygraph required
Skills in the following areas: Organizational Transformation and Effectiveness
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
