At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

Manage team performance, risk, staffing and onboarding, forecasting and overall team delivery
Support government Product Owner with management of Asset Management System (AMS) Program including planning, prioritization of initiatives, managing change and monitoring projects from inception to final deliver and helping the vendor development team stay on task
Define and track meaningful performance metrics based on real data; identify areas for improvement and implement improvement plans
Develop and present executive level reports and presentations; brief government leadership on AMS team performance and progression of key AMS projects
Draft stakeholder communications and AMS Program messages
Develop powerful dashboards via data visualization tools like PowerBI
Develop section-wide policy documents and advise on agile best practices
Support section-wide agile transformation; provide Scrum Master support and agile coaching for the section, as needed
Work closely with technical leads to manage Jira implementation for over 100+ end users by providing the following support: implementation strategy, Jira configuration, workflow development, data cleansing, user access management and training
Participate in planned system outages; perform smoke testing

Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.


Top Secret Clearance required.
Ability to plan, direct, coordinate, and control administrative and technical activities for a project.
Excellent written and oral communication and understanding of systems and systems development to be able to assess the impact on the project of technical issues and potential mitigation.
A PMP certification is highly desirable.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required
Required skills in the following areas: Agile - SCRUM, Project / Program Agile Lifecycle Management , Project Management Experience, Project Leadership
Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or universityAbility to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
