At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.


The PMO Analyst will be responsible for working with the PMO Senior Analyst, PMO Lead and PMO Specialist to carry out PMO activities related to a Health IT Modernization effort.
The PMO Analyst will be responsible for reporting to PMO Sr. Analyst as well interacting with the client and prime on a daily basis.
Conduct PMO tasks in support of the HIT Modernization activities including developing and utilizing an integrated program/project management approach that combines the technical, schedule, and implementation plans to meet performance and cost objectives.
Engage the appropriate stakeholders within client site and other government agencies, and other contractors to ensure the PMO incorporates and monitors adherence to relevant business and IT practices and standards across the individual projects and contracts.
Define performance measures to assess HIT Modernization Initiative progress and communicate to stakeholders HIT Modernization risks and status.
Develop and maintain the HIT Modernization integrated master schedule (IMS).
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.


Project Management Experience
HHS experience, HIT experience, large Tech and program management modernization experience
PMP/PMI certifications/experience

Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
