As a Grant Thornton GPS Associate, you will work with clients in civilian and defense agencies of the Federal government, as well as international governments and financial institutions. You will be exposed to financial, technology, and performance management solutions, while having opportunities to contribute to major governmental consulting assignments and gain exposure to many different business issues. Global Public Service professionals work together to increase the performance and the public trust of their clients by delivering innovative and executable solutions.

Your responsibilities will include research, data collection and analysis, business modeling, and proposal development. You will also work with fellow engagement teammates in delivering outstanding client service by performing accurate analysis and effective strategic assessment of client needs and issues. In addition, you will assist in the development of client deliverables and proposal responses, while also working on other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
Major and overall minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
Completion of necessary hours to sit for the CPA exam, if required in the state where the position will be located
The willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, and travel to various client sites

Skill Requirements:
Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
Strong technical aptitude and skillset
Demonstrated project management skillset including project planning and time management
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment
