At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Oversee the maintenance of an integrated master schedule (IMS) and the process for collecting and reporting status.
Collaborate with teams across the program to integrate their inputs that are not project specific and include sequencing of tasks, dependencies, owners, durations, etc.
Work closely with the Systems Integrators to provide a full view of program status.
Responsible for the following activities but not limited to:
Maintenance of the Schedule Management Plan and related artifacts
Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule variances
Facilitate regular schedule analysis reviews with key program stakeholders
Identify and escalate risks and/or issues associated with the IMS
Recommend and support implementation of corrective actions as needed
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

Knowledgeable of scheduling best practices (DCMA, PMI)
Experience with Project Online
Must have experience with integrating large and complex project schedules
7-10+ years of experience maintaining large or complex schedules using Microsoft Project, similar experience with other scheduling applications is acceptable
Strong communication skills and coordinating skills
Able to effectively work with multiple individuals, including supervisors, clients, and individuals from other companies
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
