Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Operations Transformation service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Assist with overall project management and synchronization of project plans and timelines
Attend meetings of working group and document weekly progress reviews, executive summary or updates on status of assignments and identification of new items for tracking;
Track implementation or completion of various simultaneous milestones and multiple deliverables across all HSI investigative components to ensure timely submissions and version control and tracking of documentation by division and directorate to ensure overall project completion;
Conduct detailed review and reconciliation of data elements in organization charts, staffing plans, and crosswalks against Table of Organization (TO), Table of Organization Position System (TOPs), master files and systems to perform quality review under guidance of government program manager (technical and Subject Matter Expert (SME) review will be done by the federal client staff);
Meet with sub‐groups to develop separate breakout organizational “studies” to optimize resources such as Intelligence Research Specialist (IRS)/Criminal Research Specialist (CRS), GS-0132/1801 series integration at HQ or for the transfer of training functions and sharing with Office of Training and Tactical Programs (OTTP);
Review agency documentation for impact of the change in organization to create an inventory of policies, handbooks, guidance, etc. that may require revision as a result of the reorganization;
Review narrative documentation for quality and clarity, i.e., justifications, memos, charters etc. (technical review will be done by the federal staff); and
Develop leadership communications to include but not limited to: white papers, executive summaries, presentations.
The contractor shall gather information from various sources and assemble the information into comprehensive work products (reports, briefings, white papers, executive summaries, etc.) for leadership’s information and/or final determination.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

Workforce/Manpower Planning skills.
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
