Grant Thornton is seeking a Sourcing Recruiter (Candidate Developer) to join its Arlington, VA, operations and take an active role in recruiting experienced top tier talent. Working in a challenging, high volume, fast-paced environment, the Sourcing Recruiter will partner with team members to ensure an efficient and successful recruitment process. The Sourcing Recruiter will have specific responsibility for a variety of recruiting related activities to include: candidate sourcing, phone screening, interviewing, closing, as well as tracking and reporting relevant information. Each member of the recruiting team is responsible for the quality and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process and implementing strategies to identify, attract, and hire high quality employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Facilitate the hiring of targeted professionals based on agreed-upon hiring goals in accordance with business plans
Deliver on all areas of recruitment process including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, assessment, and extending candidate offers
Proactively identify, source, and recruit candidates utilizing a variety of sources including, but not limited to, Internet postings and search, social media, direct sourcing, employee referrals, job fairs, research, print media, networking and agencies
Conduct thorough telephone and in-office interviews with selected candidates
Document all activity into applicant tracking systems and other local applications, as required
Build relationships with Talent Acquisition Market Leaders in order to assess their needs and provide solutions
Interact effectively with all levels of candidates and demonstrate strong negotiating skills
Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, employees, other recruiters as well as business, military, and trade associations to foster an ongoing pipeline of highly qualified candidates for firm employment
Keep Talent Acquisition Market Leaders informed of recruitment efforts and progress
Prepare appropriate interview questions to be used by self and others involved in the recruitment process
Negotiate salaries, bonuses, and offer packages for staff-level to senior manager-level candidates
Devise and implement strategies to recruit a diverse population of employees
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion
Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Communication, Social Science majors preferred)
1-3 years of professional recruiting, preferably in a government contracting firm, public management consulting firm or professional services environment
Understanding of Full Life-Cycle Recruiting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in a customer/client service atmosphere desired
Experience with MS Office Suite
Ability to market Grant Thornton to experienced professionals and campus candidates
Understanding of behavioral-based interviewing techniques
Knowledgeable of employment law and hiring practices
Proven track record of successfully meeting key performance metrics (time-to-fill ratios, interview-to-hire ratios, etc.).
Ability to utilize social media in recruitment strategy
Proven success in managing and sourcing a high volume of job requisitions at one time
Ability to work well independently and be trusted to complete tasks with minimal supervision
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required
Ability to work overtime required on occasion
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements
