At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

The Information Technology Specialist shall be responsible for developing plans based on the Government's strategic vision and leverage systems as well as possess operations consulting skills to support the Government's audit compliance plan.
Applies technical and/or analytical approaches as well as experience in systems management, operations management, program management, security, internal controls, and performance management, or other related fields, to solve client issues related to information technology.
Interface with client on program related issues and directs communication across the program with key stakeholders
Apply experience in systems management, security, internal controls, budget, cost and performance management, and other related fields
Contribute to the development and delivery of requirements documents, process flow diagrams, organizational models and/or other documentation associated with systems and operations consulting.
Contribute to the development of analytical models and complex spreadsheets to analyze technical data, documenting, assessing, and improving business and system processes and controls
Contribute to strategic systems planning and alignment; continuity of operations planning and implementation; systems and operations integration; business process reengineering; and alignment of systems to organizational needs
Contribute to the process of defining business requirements and requirements-driven design, analysis of regulatory matters related to systems and information security; and definition of priorities and measurement of project effectiveness
Lead multiple work streams
Prepare and present solutions and deliverables.

Provide input to methodology while coordinating analysis with other project personnel.
Prepare and present team and deliverable status reports in project meetings.

Prepare and deliver briefings, lead discussions, and facilitate workshops Plan, conduct and contribute to research and design activities.
Lead and oversee multiple work streams.
Direct completion of projects
Provide primary client interface on strategic issues

Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).

Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.


TS/SCI and FS Polygraph required

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems or a related field required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
