Senior Associate – Diversity and Inclusion

The Senior Associate of Diversity and Inclusion will help drive the day-to-day execution of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy, reporting to the Manager of Diversity and Inclusion, and as a member of the broader Culture Transformation and People Experience teams. This individual will be responsible for working collaboratively to implement the diversity and inclusion action plans that bring the firm-wide strategy to life.

This individual will consult with and provide insight to the D&I team that informs business leaders in the development and/or implementation of diversity plans and initiatives that support workforce culture, marketplace, and community diversity growth.

Responsibilities:

Program Management

Collaborate with team and colleagues to implement, and/or execute the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy, to align inclusion initiatives with business strategies and metrics
Consult and build relationships with stakeholders and People and Culture colleagues to provide guidance in developing and managing of diversity and inclusion activities across the firm
Implement tools to deliver innovative programs/initiatives that establish a solid link to align with firm’s business strategies
Develop and facilitate trainings to advance inclusive leadership and diversity best practices in the workplace
Implement metrics, monitoring and reporting to effectively benchmark organizational progress in D&I, and act as a catalyst for leveraging diversity and inclusion to drive sustainable growth and opportunity
Conduct research, identify best practices and provide insights for Business Resource Group (BRG) executive sponsors and members, executing on the respective BRG goals and objectives
Provide recommendations for and foster relationships with relevant external organizations, thought leaders, partners and vendors
Align with recruiting to ensure D&I strategies are implemented seamlessly to attract and retain top talent
Ensure diversity outcomes are reflected in the workforce/workplace and in business activities, including marketing materials, outreach training, and community facing efforts

Business Partnering

Support business by implementing additional practices and programs that meet firm’s needs
Executing actionable plans and initiatives that deliver value added benefits to the business and enterprise
Support Business Resource Groups by supporting action plans, and working with Business Resource groups (BRG’s) to achieve diversity results
Activate tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate impact and (ROI) of programs; develop reports on program effectiveness and make recommendations for program enhancement and improvement

Enterprise Initiatives

Implement plans and balance competing priorities, in working with metrics around D&I goals
Implement programs to demonstrate the firm’s core values/leadership expectations, while interfacing with multiple levels of the organization along with community outreach efforts

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:

A business-minded professional with demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture that is collaborative, service-oriented, and consultative
Bachelor’s degree in related field
At least three years of experience in Diversity-specific role(s), with demonstrated impact and understanding of key D&I metrics
Exemplifies passion for and critical insights about Diversity, and how they translate into a dynamic and evolving enterprise organization
Have a willing to partner at the highest degree of collaboration with others to accomplish goals and objectives
Collaborative and action-oriented, with ability to influence outcomes
Confident, with strong personal initiative
Operationally focused with ability to think strategically and deliver tactically
Strong business acumen and business development skills to help foster and embrace D&I team goals
Have external partnerships and outreach initiative experience with external community
Solid PC skills with proficiency in MS Office with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
Ability to work across a range of interpersonal and behavioral styles
Strong understanding of program/project management methodologies, business processes, and collaborating across practices and functions
Willing to travel up to 20 percent of the time
