Responsibilities:

Submitting invoices, managing server change requests, and monitoring finance reports
Perform initial analysis through gathering, cleansing, and analyzing sample data and current state models, utilizing tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, PowerBI and R
Define project requirements, including creation of data models, wireframes, backlogs, and other necessary documentation
Manage business and development teams through requirements sessions, daily stand ups, and sprint reviews
Help create playbooks and presentations to communicate new products or features at end of build
Run demos for internal and external stakeholders
Help facilitate engagement team use as project transitions from delivery to operations
Design and run UAT - monitor stakeholder feedback, hold prioritization sessions, and add bugs/new requirements into backlog
Professional experience with data science tools
Skills in the following areas: Data Modeling, Product Lifecycle Management, Requirements
Elicitation, Technical Writing, and Executive Presentation Development
Consolidate and synthesize data from disparate sources into actionable visualizations, focused on insights.
Develop interactive dashboards using modern visualization strategies and appropriate underlying data structure to clearly articulate the insights reflected.
Utilize advanced business intelligence techniques to efficiently model data, ensuring optimal report performance.
Manage client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines and lead change efforts effectively.
Work closely with Grant Thornton teams to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues.
Develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships in order to provide maximum value to our clients through the delivery of our full solutions

Qualifications

Requirements:

2 - 4 years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Masters in Computer Application, MIS or related field
Extensive experience implementing Data Analytics (SQL, R, Python, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) solutions, tax/audit/advisory industry knowledge would be an advantage
Experience working with multi-cultural virtual teams
Advanced skills in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining application code in a variety of contexts
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel a plus
Proficient knowledge of data modeling
Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice.
Exhibit a sense of urgency in attaining internally established targets and timelines
Strong leadership, business development, , training, and mentoring skills.
Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work additional hours and/or travel as needed. (~ 30%)
Preferable: Familiarity with agile management practices
