At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

Provide PMO support for the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) program within the Finance and Facilities Technology Section (FFTS).
Manage the program's change and configuration management process, utilizing Atlassian Jira, and facilitate change configuration related meetings with key stakeholders and the program's technical team.
Support and facilitate the team's Agile/Scrum processes, including impediment identification and resolution.
Develop executive level dashboards to report on program performance metrics. Maintain the UFMS program's SharePoint site and support the team in tracking project work in Jira.
Develop and maintain project schedules and roadmaps, and report on project status to the System Lead and executive leadership.
Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) functions, to include: creating user acceptance criteria, developing UAT Schedule, planning UAT logistics, facilitating UAT, verifying that users have proper access, and reporting results to System Lead. Support the technical team with providing Tier 2/3 help desk support for Service Desk & AskFinance.
Lead requirements meetings with stakeholders and ensure that requirements for desired functionality are clear and collectively understood amongst the UFMS team and the stakeholders.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings to provide updates on current activities and completed work.
Attend meetings on behalf of the System Lead, provide meeting minutes and brief the System Lead on decisions made during meetings.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.


Top Secret clearance required

Experience with Agile or CSM is preferred.
Ability to plan, direct, coordinate, and control administrative and technical activities for a project.
Excellent written and oral communication and experience and understanding of systems and systems development to be able to assess the impact on the project of technical issues and potential mitigations.
PMP is desirable.
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
