At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

Serve as the resource management workstream lead overseeing 2-3 Associate staff.
Lead working group sessions with Department of Defense (DoD) leadership.
Lead the development of work products and deliverables supporting improvements to systems and processes; Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE), cost management, performance management, and program analysis and evaluation (PA&E).
Lead programmatic cost-benefit studies, effectiveness studies and tradeoff assessments.
Support the development of client’s strategic goals, objectives and performance metrics at an enterprise level.
Provide analytical interpretations of cost and workforce data and lead modeling efforts; maintain Access and Excel-based tools to streamline data collection and reporting.
Lead the development, sharing, and enhancement of a Tableau reporting solution and also identifying ways to integrate data from the client’s other systems to report on multiple sources of information.
Manage engagement technology (laptop assignments) and software requirements (Tableau Server and Desktop) and serve as the key interface with client IT department on behalf of the engagement team.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.


DoD (or DHS) PPBE experience leading cradle-to-grave POM development and submission (Required)
Tableau Dashboard Development Experience (Required)
GFEBS BI Experience (Preferred)
CostPerform Experience (Preferred)
CDFM or CGFM Certification (Preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
