Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Enterprise Technology Strategy service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for project management tasks such as reviewing agendas, meeting minutes, and monthly status reports; updating the project management plan; leading status meetings with the client; conducting daily stand up calls with internal team, pulling spend plan reports, etc.
Responsible for leading all tasks assigned by the client, which includes, but is not limited to:
Leading process level narrative walkthroughs;
Updating and improving process narratives based on walkthrough information and best practices
Identifying key and non-key controls
Reviewing narratives updated by Associates on the team
Conducting test of design
Conducting tests of operating effectiveness for multiple controls
Reviewing test sheets developed by Associates on the team
Peer reviewing the clients work
Reviewing Remediation Monitoring Plans
Identifies ways to provide additional value to the client
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree required from an accredited college or university
Must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Experience leading A-123 engagements required
Knowledge of Federal accounts receivable processes preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
