Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Operations Transformation service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

Please Note: This role is located at the Pentagon

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Build high-quality communications materials (briefs, memos, reports.)
Facilitate sessions/workshops and document “future-state” business processes optimized to deliver capabilities that address identified needs or problems using standards-based tools, methodology and notation (e.g. Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, BPMN2, etc.)
Facilitate the development and documentation of performance measures expressed in terms of objective and threshold values and relationship to industry benchmarks.
Advise client regarding industry based common processes that enable use of commercial IT solutions and information requirements.
Support Business Case Analysis (BCA) development of IT efficiencies.
Support development of implementation plans that include organizational framework(s), transition roadmap(s), engagement plans, and change management plans.
Identify opportunities for enhancing service offerings within the client organization and develop client relationships.
Requirements analysis and documentation.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

Secret Clearance required.
Familiarity with DoD (organizational structure, budgeting processes, etc.)
Proficient with facilitation and business process modeling and improvement techniques and tools.
Experience with delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Experience with exercising high professional judgment.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong communication skills. Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred as well as facilitation experience.
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
