Grant Thornton is seeking a Manager to join its Audit Strategy and Execution team to take an active role in project and change management, and collaborate across the larger organization to drive successful delivery of key Audit priorities.

As part of the team, the Manager will support programs that drive innovation, growth and quality within the audit practice, supporting our firm wide people-first growth strategy.

Key priorities of the Audit Strategy and Execution team include, but are not limited to:

Strategic planning
Program development and management
Change management and implementation of strategic solutions
Business process re-engineering
Technology implementations
Policy deployment and training
Communications through various channels including digital workspace

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in strategic planning that integrates multiple functions including Finance, Marketing, Business Technology, People & Culture, Innovation and Business Operations and supports the practice’s strategy and operational plans
Drive project management for specific projects within the audit strategy program
Assisting in project collaboration that effectively and efficiently meet stakeholder business objectives, connect strategy to execution efforts, and ensure a return on investment
Develop and measure KPIs related to key priorities
Perform detailed analysis and interpret findings to identify opportunities for improvement, document conclusions, and provide recommendations
Manage special projects/ ad-hoc assignments as necessary
Coach/ manage others, as appropriate
Utilize and learn new technologies to collaborate with team members and enhance service delivery
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

Five or more years’ experience consulting in project management, organizational change management or delivering audit services
Three or more years’ experience in professional services a plus
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field
A practical project and change practitioner who delivers services with a pragmatic approach to solving business challenges
An advocate of continuous process improvement and proven experience in driving process efficiency and simplification
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage work efforts in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, adjust to shifting priorities as needed
Ability to think independently, maintain a professional demeanor, and maintain a good working relationship across the organization to work effectively at all levels to gather information, build consensus and meet objectives
Must be detail-oriented, have the ability to work according to schedules and work plans, willingness to ask good questions and request help as needed
Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence
Must take initiative, be proactive and decisive
Comfortable presenting information to large groups of people, facilitating meetings, and leading discussions with senior leaders
Work closely with Grant Thornton managers and partners to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, and Project)
Other duties as assigned
Ability to travel domestically is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Business Administration.
Experience with and command of:

o Project Management methodologies (e.g. PMI)

o Change management methodology (e.g. Prosci, ASTD, etc.)

o Agile frameworks, tools, and techniques (e.g. Scrum)

o Process improvement practices (e.g. Kazan, Lean, TQM)
