FinTech Manager
Position Summary:

The Advisory Practice includes Business Consulting (BC), Business Risk Services (BRS), Transaction Services (TS), Enterprise Technology, Strategy & Innovation (ETSI) and Financial Services (FS and FinTech).
The candidate will work with the FinTech Director to build a sustainable FinTech service model to generate new revenue. Includes co-authoring a strategic plan, managing creation of innovation solutions from ideation to proof of concept, executing on go-to-market opportunities, managing development of proof of concepts and coordinating key partnership relationships.
The successful candidate has experience in building FinTech innovation strategies, alliances and partnerships with a global business or management consulting firm. Ideal experience includes executing technology and innovation efforts related to digital strategies, RegTech, data analytics, machine learning, AI, and robotic process automation (RPA).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the Director to establish a sustainable innovation model and solution offerings to generate new revenue
Collaborate with the team in building out an innovation strategy and driving solutions from ideation to proof of concept
Work with the Director to mobilize efforts by the innovation team to execute offering development
Update senior leadership team on solution offering progress and key activities
Manage existing partnerships strategies and agreements. Analyze potential partnerships.
Liaise with business leaders across a matrixed organization to leverage resources and manage implementation plans
Collaborate with sales teams to develop key go-to-market targets and strategies
Analyze potential investment / partnership opportunities, and coordinate and prioritize investments
Plan and assist in delivering workshops to educate clients about new technology opportunities and services
Co-author thought leadership and develop plans for client interaction at industry events
Analyze cutting edge technologies and solutions for potential development
Work with the Director to mobilize and manage multidisciplinary teams of designers, technologists, and product leaders
Experience running proof of concepts and full scale software delivery projects for clients following the Agile methodology
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
5-8 years of experience in innovation / partnership management or mgmt. consulting
2+ years of experience managing teams
Excellent leadership skills, excellent communication skills
Established innovation network is preferred
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases
Excellent written and verbal skills
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to work additional hours and travel domestically as needed.
