Business consulting transforms value. Our Business Consulting (BC) practice consists of Financial Management, Strategy, Operations Transformation, Digital Transformation & Management and Business Application.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs supply chain advisory and implementation services to address business needs throughout an operations transformation program enabled by ERP implementations at our healthcare clients. Works closely with our engagement lead to deliver solutions that measure, analyze, and optimize our healthcare clients supply chain performance across the enterprise.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

· Manages major projects and process performance improvement initiatives for our Healthcare clients and provides subject matter expertise to include sourcing and P2P, planning and inventory management, asset management, and warehouse management

· Have the following capabilities: implement Benchmark & leading practice assessments; perform value impact analysis & realization; drive process improvement & optimization; conduct, operating model design; serve as Project manager for systems integration; manage key stakeholder for change impacts; understand and develop business requirements for advanced analytics (ex. performance optimization, domain use cases, item/ vendor data cleansing)

· Ability to analyze disparate data sets to and formulate points of view and recommendations using advanced analytic tools and techniques. This will include the development of use cases, insights and visualization from both structured and unstructured data elements enabling our clients the ability to reduce costs, improve value delivery, and maximize asset efficiency

· Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)

· Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services

· Work closely with Grant Thornton managers and partners to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues

· Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence

· Manage, develop, train, coach and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews

· Motivate others to perform at maximum efficiency without sacrificing quality of the services delivered

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Management, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
3-7 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function in the Healthcare Industry
Work experience to include at least 4 of these areas:
Sourcing and procurement
Inventory planning and management
Asset management
Warehouse management
Controls and procedure development
Reporting and data analytics
Experience with ERP implementations at healthcare providers is needed Infor, SAP, Oracle implementation experience a plus even if in other industries
Deep Project/ program management experience with large teams and cross functional workstreams

· Supply Chain or Procurement Certifications or APICS certification a plus

· Project Management Institute (PMI) certification a plus

· Six Sigma Black belt a plus

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Ability to work additional hours and/or travel as needed
