Grant Thornton is seeking a Project Manager/IV&V Analyst (ERP) to join its Technology Strategy & Management service line in Tallahassee, FL, and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Project management for independent oversight of a large state system replacement (financial and program management system).
Monitoring project activities and providing assessment and advice on status and completion.
Developing and presenting reports for multiple levels of client management from the Project Director, Deputy Project Director, and executive leadership.
Developing and reviewing project deliverables against expectations documents and evaluating based on personal implementation experience.
Attend project works sessions and team meetings as scheduled and as required to perform the work.
Apply relevant frameworks and methodologies in the course of performing IV&V
Provide advice to project leadership and team members on a wide variety of system implementation topics and challenges.
Discuss IV&V improvement recommendations for team understanding; follow up on and advise on improvement activities through satisfactory remediation.
Collaborate with other vendor partners to encourage positive stakeholder and team engagement across the project.
Sharing information and experience across the Grant Thornton IV&V community of practice as appropriate.
Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management: Supporting business development and proposal activities across Florida agencies.
Complex System Implementation Experience - ERP
Support business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials. Support follow on work sales.
Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.
Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.
Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities.
Interview campus and/or experienced candidates.

Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
Strong large complex systems implementation and contracting experience required
Experience with ERP solutions/implementations preferred.
Experience with State Departments of Transportation a plus but not required;
Minimum 7 years of experience
Public Sector implementation experience pref
Project oversight or reporting experience pref
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Coach and mentor junior staff members.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
