Enterprise Technology Strategy and Innovation (ETSI) is the newest business line in the Advisory practice. The ETSI team consists of highly skilled subject matter experts in Enterprise Technology Strategy, Information Technology Service Management, Advanced Technology and Digital Solutions, IT Strategic Sourcing and Technology Resource Effectiveness who bring dedicated focus to the business of technology. The ETSI business line partners with our clients to cut through the clutter, ask the hard questions, and provide innovative and customized solutions that drive value and build trust.

The Technology Strategy Copywriter is client focused, and will support delivery of CIO marketing, communications, and strategy deliverables to clients across the five ETSI service lines. You will also support development of ETSI collateral and be responsible for crafting written materials including strategy documents, assessments, and other deliverable reports. You will support development of the ETSI story and developing written collateral materials across a variety of channels including: web copy, white papers, points of view, blogs, articles, client proposals, and external presentations, etc. You are responsible for delivering the assigned projects on-time and on-budget, managing quality control, while maintaining and building client relationships. You will align with the ETSI practice strategy and overall Grant Thornton brand standards. As a member of the ETSI team, you will participate in solution set development and collateral development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Build relationships within the organization to work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand materials including marketing collateral, web content, video, proposals and presentations.
Write clear, concise and grammatically correct copy.
Drive the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication.
Use appropriate language styles that appeal to various target markets.
Develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice.
Experience with web markup language and search engine optimization.
Write and edit using Grant Thornton or client style guidelines.
Select appropriate medium for message or audience.
Standardize content across platforms and media.
Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to understand their style and brand guidelines and perform services.
Ensure consistent delivery on schedule, on cost, on scope, on benefit and within quality goals.
Work closely with Grant Thornton leadership to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues.
Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence.

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Communications, or related field preferred.
3-5 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function, servicing cross-industry clients at a national level.
Deep understanding of brand development and plain language writing concepts.
Demonstrated writing and editing skills in a portfolio of work.
Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices.
Experience with online marketing and lead generation.
Demonstrated success in developing a story for proposals and presentation materials.
Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects.
Demonstrated understanding of current digital technology trends and resulting challenges to leaders and organizations.
Experience with Life Sciences, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Manufacturing clients preferred.
Ability to work additional hours as needed.
