Operations Manager

The Operations Manager works closely with the Human Resource (HR) Director/Manager and Office Managing Partner (OMP) and Practice Leaders to support the operations of the practice and career development and resource management of our people.

The Office Manager directs office services and related activities within the office.
Manage vendor relationships, general office supply ordering, delivery services, copy center, receptionist, and other routine office needs.
Arrange and implement internal office moves and build-outs.
Serve as office liaison to National Office Purchasing and Procurement department.
Manage all aspects of conferences, meetings, leadership retreats, training, seminars, holiday party and other events.
Respond to various requests and inquiries from employees.
Maintain essential skills by attending training programs and participating in required.
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; college coursework a plus.
Experience in a large accounting or consulting firm environment strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational, communications and writing skills.
Ability to manage staff.
Ability to negotiate effectively.
Ability to work independently.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint ).
Strong project management skills including ability to work under pressure with tight time frames.
Deadline oriented.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of management, as well as cross-functional groups, both inside and outside the firm.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
3+ years office management experience.
Ability to work additional hours as needed.
