Business consulting and technology transforms value. Our Business Consulting & Technology (BC&T) practice consists of Financial Management, Strategy & Operations Transformation, Technology Strategy & Management and Technology Solutions.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs profitability analysis and develops and implements creative solutions that add near-term shareholder value to our clients’ businesses.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

· Manages major profitability improvement initiatives for our clients
· Leverage relationships with senior client executives to improve our client’s businesses and expand the Grant Thornton brand
· Assess client businesses holistically with a primary objective of identifying near-term profitability improvement opportunities
· Meet or exceed targeted revenue generation targets
· Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services
· Work closely with Grant Thornton managers and partners to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues
· Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence
· Manage, develop, train, coach and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews
· Motivate others to perform at maximum efficiency without sacrificing quality of the services delivered

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA, while not required, is a plus
10 plus years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function with a proven track record of driving business profitability
Work experience to include significant experience in at least 2-3 of the following areas:
Procurement
Inventory management
Operations
Finance
Accounting
Data analytics

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Ability to work additional hours and/or travel as needed
