Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Operations Transformation service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Task Lead to develop and document key business processes that support the client’s IT portfolio management program including the following kinds of business process documentation: standard operating procedures, process flow diagrams, concept of operations, strategic plans, and business cases.
Develop program management and business process solutions to obtain, analyze, and publish information relating to the IT investment portfolio.
Gather information from multiple information systems and other sources, synthesize aspects of project status and outcomes, and report information through executive dashboards and reports.
Develop solutions for analyzing and reporting program and project information through the application of advanced analytical techniques and data visualization capabilities.
Liaise with multiple client contacts and team members to understand and develop program reports and supporting process documentation according to the Agile program management methodology.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

Top Secret Clearance required.
5 years’ experience.
3+ years demonstrated experience with Business Process Improvement / Business Process Reengineering.
Ability to Drive Tasks to Completion and Achieve Positive Outcomes.
Problem solving skills.
IT Program Management (PMP preferred, but not required).
Flexibility to work on multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
