Note: This position is located in Hanover, MD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Assist the government with financial management operations & budget analysis.
Support the Government in monitoring and coordinating program resource allocations.
Ensure cohesive agency-wide program development.
Support Client budget execution and program build activities, analysis, events, and documentation packages as designated by government leads. This includes, but is not limited to: Gathering, maintaining, reviewing, and analyzing of program and budget data and requirements.
Assist with resource management oversight.
Provide support to Program Managers in the development and implementation of fiscal execution spend plans.
Support, develop, and prepare various PowerPoint/white paper briefings and presentations related to Client Financial Management matters, programs, and activities for senior level leadership.
Justify/defend programs and budgets.
Resolve resource management issues.
Analyze and interpret complex program, budget and execution data.
Support the preparation and monitoring of Supplemental/Over guidance requirements.
Support all aspects of budget execution and conduct analysis.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

TS/SCI clearance required.
Certified Government Financial Managers.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in governmental accounting.
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business or related field.
Lead financial management initiatives such as unliquidated obligations, unfunded requirements, spend plan analysis (Desired).
Demonstrated experience with government agency budgetary or finance processes and key execution processes (Desired).
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
