At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Oversee all test events and be able to manage multiple test events.
Coordinate with developers, functional end users and test sites.
Monitors and updates bug reports and approves reports.
Experience with configuring necessary hardware, test data and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Technical expertise with developing test plans, cases, scripts and reports
A Test Lead/Engineer must have worked in an Agile/Scrum capacity and be familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle.
The Test Lead/Engineer should have experience analyzing technical customer requirements supporting design and development of web sites/pages/applications.
The Test Lead/Engineer needs excellent communication skills and experience working closely with developers to analyze scope and create test scripts, cases, and data for functionality planned within a build.
The Test Lead/Engineer must have knowledge of testing enhancements, conducting regression testing and logging/resolving defects as they arise.
We are looking for someone who must have experience working with knowledgeable, key stakeholders and is preferred to have familiarity with IBM Rational toolset.
A Test Lead/Engineer must oversee test events using Agile/Scrum processes and be able to manage multiple test events defining and staffing these test events with appropriate resources.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

Must have experience with configuring necessary hardware, test data and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Must have experience in writing or assisting in the development of test plans and test procedures.
Healthcare or VA experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
