Office Lead

POSITION SUMMARY

The Office Lead directs office services and related activities within the office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review all operating expenses, including vendor invoices, contracts and expense reports for compliance with policy and budget
Supervise and coach office services staff and contractors
Draft, edit and send any/all mass communications to office
Ensure that the office is maintained in sound condition and schedule repairs as needed to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Arrange and implement internal office moves
Plan, manage and attend conferences, meetings, leadership retreats, training sessions, seminars, holiday parties and other events
Facilitate decision-making regarding office and conference room space reservations
Serve as building services and security contact during and after work hours
Interview candidates and give hiring recommendations for administrative assistant roles in the Seattle office
Provide executive assistance to office managing partner and others, as assigned
Maintain vendor relationships, and provide guidance on office supply ordering, delivery services, copy center, and other routine office needs
Respond to various requests and inquiries from employees
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion
Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis
Perform other job-related duties necessary

Qualifications

Qualifications
Excellent organizational, communications and writing skills
Ability to manage staff
Ability to negotiate effectively
Ability to work independently
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong project management skills including ability to work under pressure with tight time frames
Deadline oriented
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of management, as well as cross-functional groups, both inside and outside the firm
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work additional hours as needed
Experience in a large accounting or consulting firm environment strongly preferred
4-year college degree preferred
