At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Update and maintain the Client Baseline Systems Architecture and IT System Inventory. The inventory is inclusive of all major end item IT assets. This includes assets that enable Cloud based operations, data communication between Client facilities, and desktop/mobile computing backend services.
Analyze content of existing applications/systems to identify gaps / overlaps / opportunities.
Identify and map related IT attributes (e.g., network/infrastructure (hardware/software), security, service level agreements, etc.) to applicable applications/systems in the Baseline Systems Inventory.
Develop and maintain As-Is & To-Be Technical Architecture with Transition Plans and requisite segment architectures.
Utilize the Technology Assessment Report that has sufficient content and thoroughness to: update and maintain the Target Technical Architecture and incorporate emerging technologies/innovations as identified by the Government PM.
Develop associated architecture products, inclusive of a technology roadmap, transitions plans, and technology performance measures.
Perform as an Architect that is able to get down to the next level and understand the business aspects of the technologies.
Perform detailed Architecture and able to communicate efficiently and effectively to the ASD Team, Business Owners, OCIO Directors, Deputy CIO, CIO, and other stakeholders.
Maintain all Segment Architecture artifacts and the Alignment of Segment Architectures to Enterprise Architecture.
Mapping of Segment Architectures to functional use cases.
Analysis of gaps and overlaps of segments.
Maintain solution architecture and technical architecture artifacts, including performance metrics.
Perform analysis of gaps and overlaps of technical and solution architectures.
Develop and align additional solution artifacts for Technical Integration projects.
Perform architecture and design supporting development of services to include supporting security framework.
Determine Measurable service improvements and efficiency improvements will result from the proposed systems.
Determine how the proposed solutions align with the Federal Enterprise Architecture (EA) and ensuring continued alignment with the Federal EA.
Authoring Enterprise Architecture sections and information for Exhibit 300.
Participate and lead technical reviews of any and all project artifacts.
Preparing well written communications for various stakeholders
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

Technical EA SME with high-level SME similar to a Chief Technical officer (CTO).
7+ years of EA Experience and Expertize (certification in FEAF or TOGAF or DODAF preferred).
4+ Advance knowledge of MS Office 365 or Sales Force (Ideally intricacies of Both or at least one of those technologies).
Agile Scrum or Kanban (basic knowledge/ working experience).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Soft Skills and Communication Skills, Teamwork and collaboration.
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
