Grant Thornton is seeking an Associate to join its Operations Transformation service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Develops and instructors computer-based training.
Develops and revises training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs. Develops courses and instructional material to educate technical and non-technical personnel in IT.
Prepares instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids). Prepares student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
Provides second level support and coordinate training with help desk.
Provides standards, services, and guidance on IT related training programs that are designed to enable government agency personnel to use information technologies and systems more productively.
Possesses thorough knowledge of appropriate hardware and software.
Must understand computer functions and related technical terminology, and how they are applied in everyday business situations.
Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

Experience working with Oracle Federal E-Business Suite Release 12 modules Federal Admin, General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Projects, iProcurement/Purchasing, GRC. Experience with developing the training material using Oracle UPK.
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
