Transaction Services – Corporate Finance Manager

TS services includes Diligence, Corporate Finance, Operations and Tax.

POSITION SUMMARY:

If so, the Corporate Finance Manager role may be what you’re looking for. We provide advisory services to debtors, creditors and other stakeholders of organizations undergoing change and facing challenges due to a number of factors. The Corporate Finance Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing all phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and completing projects and services in corporate restructuring and developing and managing staff. The Corporate Finance Manager works closely with partners and staff and plays a key role in client management, practice development, and business development for an assigned group of clients. The Corporate Finance Manager will likely have an opportunity to work across service lines, including planning, directing, and completing financial due diligence and other types of projects. Intellectual curiosity and flexibility are key characteristics for a successful Corporate Finance Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage Corporate Finance engagements from start-to-finish, which may include developing pitch materials, leading internal client acceptance protocols, leading on-site team, developing client relationships, and developing deliverables and presenting findings to client personnel. While much of your role will be focused on Corporate Finance there may be opportunities to manage financial due diligence and other projects.

Develop and review financial models, including 13 week cash flow forecasts and three statement integrated financial models.

Develop and review client deliverables.
Manage client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines and lead change efforts effectively.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell services.
Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence.
Recruit, manage, mentor, and train senior associates and associates.
Assess performance of senior associates and associates for engagement and year-end reviews.
Additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
6 to 10 years of related work experience in the areas of restructuring and turnaround consulting, corporate finance, crisis management, interim management, mergers and acquisitions, or a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level.
Extensive experience in the following: accounting, audit, management consulting or transaction advisory services.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with extensive experience developing financial models, including 13 week cash flow forecasts and integrated three statement models.

Experience working with organizations in chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, including hands-on experience completing Statements of Financial Affairs, Schedules of Assets and Liabilities, and Monthly Operating Reports.

Strong current knowledge in US GAAP, SEC Reporting, Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, transaction advisory services or mergers and acquisitions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice.
Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills.
Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communications skills.
Availability to work additional hours and/or travel as needed.
