Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its IT Advisory service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
A Functional Area Expert II must have experience and deep knowledge of business, functional and technical areas/disciplines and be able to conduct research on special areas.
Must have experience with proposing new solutions to problems in the areas of their functional expertise.
Must be able to work and analyze both independently and as part of a team.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

10 years of experience and a Bachelors Degree.
Program/Project Management Office (PMO) Experience.
Knowledge conducting or participating in build planning, sprint planning, and/or sprint execution processes and activities.
Well versed in SDLC.
Experience working with client senior leadership and managing client expectations.
Previous business analyst experience working closely with stakeholders to build products.
Experience leading and managing team of business analysts.
Previous experience building, leading and supporting IT business applications and systems.
The following skills are nice to have:
Related Certification (i.e. CSM, PMP, CAPM, CSSGB).
Knowledge of Rational Team Concert or other Requirements Management Tool.
VA experience preferred.
Microsoft Visio experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
