TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS DIRECTOR – EPM ANALYTICS

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Grant Thornton Director, you will be responsible for leading a project or multiple projects in full life cycle, focused on the Oracle EPM Cloud, Oracle Analytic Cloud stack. Business functions would include but not be limited to: Planning and budgeting; Consolidation and close; Profitability and cost management; Procurement and spend or human capital analytics.

Your responsibilities include participating in the pre-sales process of identifying client prospects, capturing their key objectives and requirements, and developing and presenting the implementation proposal and solution demonstrations. You will also be responsible for performing development and overseeing the implementation of EPM Cloud and Analytic Cloud solutions or the related on-premise Hyperion or Oracle BI technology, for both new and existing clients. The Director has heavy interaction with the client as well as provides direction for the project team(s) including their ongoing development. Other General and administrative responsibilities include participation in internal and external meetings, managing project economics, client interviews, and maintaining a positive working relationship with the team and client. Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vice presidents and directors at potential clients.
Play a key role in future business generation by identifying new business opportunities through networking within industry.
Proactively anticipate and stay informed of industry trends including regulations, market practices, trends, economic factors, and risk.
Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business and process improvement.
Serve as a trusted business advisor to client.
Oversee multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Take on leadership role in improving existing tools and building new tools to deliver our services.
Effectively manage the financial performance (i.e. realization, utilization, leverage, accounts receivable, expenses, etc.) of multiple engagements.
Actively develop and maintain peer relationships with other Advisory Services practices and other firm Service Lines to promote an integrated cross-discipline sales and delivery model and actively pursue cross-sell opportunities appropriate to the client needs.
Serve as a coach and mentor to our people, develop high performing teams, and promote respect and inclusiveness in the workplace.
Actively participate in recruiting talent to the firm.
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
BS with a concentration in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
At least ten years of progressive advisory or consulting experience within a medium or large professional services and advisory firm or major management consulting firm.
Experience with the pre-sales process, implementation and administration of Oracle EPM Cloud, Oracle Analytic Cloud.
ETL/Integration and data management tool experience including, but not limited to, EPMA, DRM ODI, FDM, EAL, ERPi, and/or Oracle/other database systems
Demonstrated new business development experience.
Strong business acumen and complex problem solving skills.
Strong teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Define talent requirements necessary to deliver solution sets.
Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
Assist in developing methodologies and tools to enable team members to execute engagement objectives.
Provide engagement leadership to team members to continually improve engagement implementation and execution.
Assist in building and implementing programs to improve services.
Lead performance review processes.
Readiness to travel up to 100%
