Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate, Advisory University Recruiter responsible for supporting the execution of full life-cycle campus recruiting for the Advisory Services team. This person will help implement strategies to identify, attract, and hire quality, diverse employees for the region from various top educational institutes. In addition to serving as the primary point of contact for candidates, and educational institutions, this role will work closely with internal stakeholders to establish the recruiting approach to achieve demand by candidates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate the overall university recruitment function within the Advisory service line in conjunction with input from managing partners, practice leaders, and campus champions
Build and cultivate relationships with external stakeholders including career services staff, professional associations, student interest and diversity organizations, faculty and alumni
Coordinate and facilitate all logistics associated with hosting on-campus activities at target schools including: arranging information sessions, scheduling and conducting interviews, organizing outreach activities, and promoting presentations and involvement with key clubs and organizations
Coordinate and facilitate all logistics surrounding the office visit process including: final round interview days, office sell events and open houses
Fill the hiring needs and goals of region based on business plans in conjunction with region leadership and campus champions
Embody exceptional candidate relationship management skills with solid negotiation skills to delivers a brand-defining experience while effectively managing expectations
Thrive in a collaborative environment with the ability to capitalize on a diverse group of personalities and professional skills
Ability to effectively influence and direct others (stakeholders, peers and other colleagues)
Develop, implement, document and measure to evaluate overall effectiveness and success of recruiting and sourcing strategies for each campus
Maintain regular communication (verbal and written) on priorities, activity in progress, and the results of recruiting efforts
Manage school and office budgets
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
2 – 4 years of relevant Campus Recruiting Experience, with a strong preference for an individual with experience in a professional services environment
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
Ability to quickly acquire a solid understanding of relevant firm businesses
Ability to quickly acquire a strong knowledge of the firm’s recruiting policy, procedures and databases
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills with strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs simultaneously
High level of proficiency in MS Office
Event planning skills
Travel throughout the region is required
