As a tax professional, you will prepare and review complex federal and/or state income tax returns and will act as a business advisor to our clients, showing companies the most intelligent and effective ways to reduce their taxes.

We offer many opportunities to specialize and work in a variety of tax fields, including federal tax, state and local tax (SALT), international tax, and compensation and benefits consulting (CBC). A description of these fields can be found below:

• Federal tax services – Monitor and research the latest tax developments to provide federal tax solutions for companies that need help with inventory, asset recovery, mergers and acquisitions, capital cost benefits and recovery, accelerating deductions, and more.


• National Tax Office – Draw upon the resources of the best and brightest tax professionals in the industry in our National Tax Office in Washington, D.C. This brain trust serves as the nationwide technical support center for the federal tax needs of our tax professionals and clients.


• State and local tax services (SALT) – Work with a team of state and local tax specialists to advise companies operating in multiple state and multiple tax jurisdictions, as well as helping companies that have complex local tax issues. Our SALT professionals include former state tax commissioners, government officials, and industry tax directors and attorneys.


• International tax services – Advise multinational companies on maximizing their tax savings both at home and abroad with tax strategies that address regulations and tax rates that vary with each new offshore location. Keep current with changing foreign tax laws in Latin America, Europe, and Asia, as well as here at home.


• Compensation and benefits consulting (CBC) – Work with a team of tax, accounting, compensation, and benefits and human resource exerts to assist clients with benefit plan design and cost containment and help them mitigate potential liabilities. The CBC group helps companies remain competitive in their offerings to current and potential employees.
