At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Support the Office of Technical Integration within the client as a Solution Advisor providing Cerner expertise, support, and knowledge transfer sessions to the National/VISN Councils/local workshops, and client solution experts.
Support translation of Cerner capabilities and nomenclature to enable understanding in partnership with the Solution Expert.

Bring the experts up to speed in their respective areas with solution knowledge.

Review and help the Council Admins with the task orders and deliverables, and ensure they are received on time and are completed accurately per program office requirements.

Provide support to the Council Admins and members by assisting in the current state workflow/requirements analysis.

Assist in review of DoD lessons learned and help incorporate findings into workflows.

Attend Cerner workshops and assist/support staff attending the event.

Assist in future state workflow design and diagrams.

Identify potential risks and pain points in the workflows.

Assist in mapping client staff roles to Cerner security roles.

Help define interface specifications and requirements for other vendors.

Assist in reporting requirements/mapping/identification.

Assist in the development of CMO testing scripts and support all CMO testing types and CMO testing events.

Review and assist in managing issues and risks with mitigation plans.

Work with Cerner and client in build/design/workflow changes.

Assist in the review of training manuals and job aids delivered by Cerner.

Assist and support in designing cutover/go live planning and post go live support.

Provide solution knowledge expertise on Cerner Medical Device connectivity and interfaces

Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).

Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Min 10 yrs exp
Familiar w/drug files/formulary
Work w/Cerner Command Language (PharmNet/Bedrock tools: MedManager/MedManager Retail)
Exp w/PharmNet capabilities
Develop new software/major enhancements to existing software
Be highest-level tech expert for compabilitiy/HC semantics address system integration problems/compatibility/HC semantics/informatics/mult. platforms
Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to mgmt

Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
